HCG Drops Versus HCG Injections

When embarking on an HCG diet you might wonder whether you should go with the HCG drops or the HCG injections. Either way, you will likely achieve the results you want as long as you stick with the program. HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is typically seen in pregnant women and allows their bodies to use up abnormal fat in order to provide more nutrients for the baby. This means the mother experiences all the benefits of the vitamins and good nutrients in the body while only getting rid of fat so as to keep the baby’s home safe and healthy.

HCG Drops

HCG drops are typically taken with your two protein meals during the day. This means you need to plan when these meals are going to be or always have the drops on your person. For most women, this isn’t much of an inconvenience and can easily be accomplished. Some women do not like the taste of the drops and find that it makes fluids and other foods taste funny. If you are likely to stop following the program because of this, you might want to consider the injections.

HCG Injections

Typically you will use HCG injections twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. There are really no adverse side effects to the injections other than a standard fear of needles. The injections might be the easier way to go but are not always easy if you travel a lot and need to account for the syringes and needles in your bags. In addition, to be safe you should acquire a sharps container like diabetics would use in order to properly dispose of the needles when you are done with them. If you have small children in your home it might be preferable to go with the drops.

There are no specific differences in effectiveness between the drops and the injections. Both work the same and require the same type of diet structure in order to be successful. If you plan on starting an HCG diet you can look into both HCG drops and HCG injections to determine what you feel will work best for you. It really comes down to a personal choice and how you prefer to take the hormone.

HCG diets work effectively with both drops and injections. Whichever you choose, be sure you stick with the program and follow the dietary guidelines in order to see maximum effects. If you work within the guidelines for the 23 to 40 days of the program you should see a significant drop in weight and more importantly a huge loss of unwanted fat. Adding an exercise program in addition will add to the effectiveness of the HCG drops or injections and also help you maintain your newfound lean body after you are done using the hormone. Some people choose to do it once or twice a year as an added form of maintenance which means you could try both the HCG drops and HCG injections to see which you prefer.

Take control of your weight with the HCG diet

The HCG diet like all other diets is most successful when you stick with reasonable eating habits after the diet is complete. You need to always be vigilant about what you are eating. This does not mean you can’t indulge every once in a while but you need to truly see it as a “treat.” Discipline is key to finding and maintaining a comfortable weight and in exchange your body becomes a more effective machine, one that will do what you want it to do. By taking control of your weight with the HCG diet you can turn it around and then only have to worry about maintenance, which can include a few stints on HCG a year.
